🦎 Meet our newest enrolment… Pancake! 💙 Pancake is our resident blue-tongue lizard and, although we haven’t seen a school uniform yet, it has already mastered the morning arrival routine! Most mornings, Pancake can be found stretched out at the gate, soaking up the sunshine and keeping a close eye on students as they arrive. ☀️👀 Already a much-loved member of the OLN community, Pancake seems to have decided that the front gate is the perfect spot for a little morning people-watching. Our Stage 3 students had a fantastic time participating in the Catholic Mission Socktober Launch and Soccer Gala Day, supported by the Western Sydney Wanderers. Students enjoyed playing soccer against other schools while celebrating teamwork, friendship and faith in action. It was a wonderful day of fun and connection, reminding us that together we can help make a positive difference in the lives of others. ⚽🧦❤️

Today is National Tree Day! 🌳 To celebrate, our school planted a beautiful Silky Oak, an Australian native tree, on the oval where it has plenty of room to grow into a large, healthy tree. Silky Oaks are known for their stunning orange flowers, which attract birds and help support local wildlife. As our tree grows, it will provide cool shade for children to enjoy while they play, learn, and relax. Mr Baddock used AI to show us what our Silky Oak will look like when it is fully grown, giving everyone a glimpse of its exciting future. We can't wait to watch it grow and become a special part of our school for many years to come.
