A welcome message from Our Lady of the Nativity Primary Principal, Lisa Samojlowicz.
Dear Families and Colleagues,
Our Lady of the Nativity Primary is a place for students and their families to belong, and do great work together. We’re proud to share our story and welcome you to our community!
We work hard to establish a strong and caring partnership between home and school. Together we strive to create an engaging and challenging learning environment where students develop a passion for lifelong learning. Our school is a close-knit, compassionate community where the wellbeing of every student is our priority because we know that the best learning happens when children are cared for, supported and engaged.
Our historic Catholic school overlooks the Blue Mountains World Heritage National Park. Our surroundings play a significant part in who we are and we take great pride in learning about our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history and culture so that we can protect and enhance the natural environment in which we learn and play.
Christ is at the centre of our community and our students are supported to grow in faith through our core values of respect, compassion, justice and integrity. In line with our school motto, ‘In All Things May God Be Glorified’, our vision is to glorify God in all aspects of life and learning. This is achieved through recognising the worth of each student and meeting his or her individual needs, providing a safe, supportive and nurturing environment, encouraging lifelong learning and celebrating our faith together.
I warmly invite you to take a tour of our wonderful school so that we can share with you first-hand everything that makes Our Lady of the Nativity the best place for you and your child to learn and grow.
