Friday was filled with love, laughter, and proud smiles as we celebrated Grandparents Day 2025. 💛 Grandparents and special friends poured into our church to celebrate mass for the St Mary of the Cross MacKillop feast day, combined with Grandparents Day. They stayed to visit our classrooms, listened to stories, admired work, and shared in the joy of learning. For our students, it was a chance to show just how much they’ve grown – and to say thank you for the wisdom, care, and encouragement they receive every day. 🐝🌿 Last Monday, Stage 1 and 2 students became biodiversity champions! From exploring pollination and native plants to building bee homes and spotting local pollinators, it was a hands-on day of learning and action. It was a fantastic day filled with strategy, concentration, and great sportsmanship! 🌟 Faith in Action: Stage 3 Sleepout Experience 🌟 Our Stage 3 Faith in Action Team recently took part in the Mountains Wide Sleepout, joining with students from St Thomas and St Canice’s to better understand what life is like for those experiencing homelessness in our community. ⚽ Stage 3 Futsal Day – What a Day! 🏆 Last Friday was an unforgettable day of futsal fun, fierce competition, and fantastic team spirit! Our Stage 3 students gave it their all on the court, showcasing skill, determination, and loads of energy. Every team should be proud — with goals flying in, epic saves, and great teamwork on display, the standard of play was outstanding! A massive shoutout to our two senior boys’ teams, who battled it out in a thrilling final that ended in a draw at full time. The intensity ramped up with a penalty shootout decider, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats! 👏 Congratulations to Tom, who took home Player of the Tournament for his age group — an amazing achievement! It was a day full of pride, passion, and plenty of reasons to celebrate. Well done to all players, coaches, and supporters for making it such a success!
